Web portal: orders and customers
Monitor live and past orders, look up customers, and handle day-to-day ops in the browser.
Orders list
The portal orders view is the manager cockpit when you are not standing at the POS. Use it to spot delayed tickets, open marketplace orders, and audit what sold today.
- Open Orders from the sidebar.
- Filter by status, channel (POS, online, marketplace), or date as needed.
- Open an order to see line items, payment state, and customer or table context.
- Update status when your workflow allows managers to advance tickets from the browser.
Customers
- Open Customers to find repeat guests by name, phone, or recent activity.
- Use customer history when resolving a complaint or confirming a past order.
- Respect privacy — only staff who need guest data should have access via roles.
Day-to-day ops
Pair the portal with Foodpos: the floor sells and holds tickets; the portal confirms what happened and supports remote managers.
- Morning: skim open or unfinished tickets from the previous night.
- Service: watch marketplace and QR orders if the floor is busy.
- Close: confirm paid vs unpaid and hand off refunds to the refunds process.
