Foodpos basics: install, sell, and get paid
Install Foodpos, sign in, build a ticket from the menu grid, take payment, and print a receipt.
Install Foodpos
Foodpos runs on Windows desktops and Android tablets. Use a dedicated counter or kitchen device so service is not interrupted by personal apps.
- Open the Foodpos download page on foodma.co.
- Choose Windows or Android and install the latest build.
- Launch the app and allow printer / network permissions if prompted.
- Keep the device on a stable network shared with any kitchen display or printers.
Sign in and pick the outlet
- Sign in with your restaurant owner or staff credentials.
- If the account has more than one branch, confirm the correct outlet before service.
- Verify the menu and payment methods loaded for that outlet.
Take a first paid sale
- From the POS home, open the menu grid or start a new sale.
- Tap items to add them; adjust quantity and modifiers as needed.
- Add a kitchen note if the cook needs special instructions.
- Review the ticket total, then choose Pay.
- Select the payment method (cash, card, transfer, or other configured options) and confirm.
- Print or share the receipt for the guest.
Receipts and history
Paid sales show as paid on the receipt. Held or unpaid tickets are not revenue until you settle them.
- Use transaction history in Foodpos to reopen a recent sale or reprint a receipt.
- Cross-check the same day in the web portal reports if you need a manager view.
What to expect
Menu changes made in the web portal sync to Foodpos after refresh or the next sync cycle — if an item is missing, confirm it is published and available in the portal.
