Vendor mobile: marketplace orders

Install and sign in

1. Install the Foodma vendor app on your phone or tablet.
2. Sign in with the same business account used on the web portal.
3. Allow notifications so new marketplace orders are not missed during service.

Accept an order

Marketplace orders come from customers discovering you in the Foodma customer app. They are separate from table QR orders in your dining room.

1. Open the incoming order from the notification or orders list.
2. Confirm items and prep time; accept if you can fulfill.
3. If you must decline, do it quickly so the customer is not left waiting.

Prepare and hand off

1. Move the order through preparing and ready as the kitchen finishes.
2. For delivery, wait for rider pickup cues in the app and hand over clearly labeled bags.
3. For pickup, mark ready when the customer can collect.
4. Complete the order after successful handoff so payouts and ratings stay accurate.

Tips

Keep menu availability updated in the portal so marketplace customers do not order items you cannot cook.

During peak, assign one person to watch the vendor app if the counter POS is already busy.
